METHODS OF CLOSING THE WOUND SURFACE OF THE LIVER AFTER RESECTION

Abstract

This article analyzes the literature data on closing the wound surface after liver resection. The methods of using biological materials of different origin, both synthetic and composite materials are described. The terms of materials use are determined, positive and negative aspects in terms of technology implementation, postoperative course and reaction of the liver parenchyma are evaluated. The prospects and feasibility of application at the present level of liver surgery development are outlined.
