Abstract

Esophageal injury is a severe pathology with high mortality. The article describes the experience of treatment of 23 patients with traumatic rupture of the esophagus of different etiologies. For the first time the esophageal resection with primary esophagoplasty with a favorable outcome is applied in advanced esophageal damage.
