DYNAMICS OF CHANGES IN INTERHEMISPHERIC INTEGRATION IN PATIENTS WITH ISCHEMIC STROKE IN THE RECOVERY PERIOD ACCORDING TO THE DATA OF COHERENCE ANALYSIS OF THE ELECTROENCEPHALOGRAM UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF INTERVAL NORMOBARIC HYPOXITHERAPY

Abstract

The aim of the study was the assessment of the state of interhemispheric integration in patients with ischemic stroke in the recovery period under the influence of interval normobaric hypoxitherapy (ING). 98 patients after the ischemic stroke were examined by coherence analysis of EEG. A positive trend of changes in the state of interhemispheric integration reflected in a significant increase in the mean values of coherence coefficients in the range of alpha band was revealed in the group of patients in which ING was used in the combined treatment. In addition, the reduced level of interhemispheric integration in the range of delta band in patients with ischemic stroke in the right carotid region also testified to the therapeutic benefit of ING.
