Abstract
The purpose of the study was to reveal the link between clinical and psychopathological characteristics of patients, circumstances of parasuicide together with the manifestations of suicide intensions. 264 patients hospitalized after selfinjury were examined. The analysis was based on the Pierce Suicide Intents Scale. Patience with depression and schizophrenia spectrum disorders had the highest level of suicidal ideation. Alcohol intoxication at the time of parasuicide was connected with lower level of suicidal intentions.
