THE PECULIARITIES OF NITRIC OXIDE CYCLE FUNCTIONING IN THE CONDITIONS OF CHRONIC EXPOSURE OT SUBTOXIC DOSES OF NITRATES: EXPERIMENTAL STUDY

Abstract

The study was aimed to evaluate nitric oxide cycle functioning in the conditions of chronic exposure to subtoxic doses of nitrates. There was shown that creatinine content in urine of rats exposed to subtoxic doses of nitrates is levelled down.

Subtoxic doses of nitrates influenced non-significantly at the level of proteinuria and creatinine concentrations in blood plasma. Lower levels of nitrites renal excreation were assessed as a result of the decrease of nitric oxide production in the chronic exposure of subtocix doses of non-organic precursors of nitric oxide.
