EVALUATION OF MEDICAL, SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC EFFECTIVENESS OF MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIES

Abstract

We assessed the medical, social and economic efficiency of laser treatments for DME standard procedure and method developed by us. Comparative analysis of the individual components of implemented technologies shows that the medical efficiency, social patient satisfaction, and economy respectively in 1.5, 1.4 and 1.1 times higher (p <0,05) than the standard method, while the economic effect to 296540 rubles per patient at the same medical support and professional level of staff.
