Abstract
The article presents short biographical information about life and professional activities of candidate of historical sciences, associate professor M.V. Barsegian (1905-1995). M.V. Barsegian was born in Tulsk Region. At the age of twenty she headed a village school in Panovo district of the Western-Siberian Region. In 1937 M.V. Barsegian graduated from Moscow State Institute of History, Philosophy and Literature. During the great Patriotic War she worked for the Molotov district Party committee in the city of Kirov. Since 1944 and till her last days M.V. Barsegian lived and worked in Belarus, first in Mogilev, then in Grodno. In 1958 she was appointed head of the Department of Marxism-Leninism of the Grodno State Medical Institute and supervised it for 10 years.
