CLINICAL SIGNIFICANCE OF ENZYMEURIA IN CHILDREN WITH DIABETES MELLITUS TYPE 1

Abstract
60 children suffering from diabetes mellitus type 1 with various duration of the disease and 20 healthy children from the control group have been examined. Levels of renospecific enzymes such as cholinesterase, L-alanine aminopeptidase and б-glucosidase in urine were estimated. The increased levels of these enzymes indicating disorders of the glomerular and tubular kidney apparatus were found.
