Abstract

The article presents the experience of Transplantation Department of Grodno Regional Clinical Hospital. The results of 21 multiorgan explantations and 14 kidney transplantations are analyzed. The successful transplantation program start in the Grodno region and its positive influence on the implementation of innovative methods in general surgical procedures has been emphasized. At the same time the necessity of careful comorbidities correction in the preoperative period, the improvement of exclusion criteria and immunosuppressive protocols, which will improve the results of renal transplantation has been outlined.
